About My Family Circle

I am nearing my ninth decade on this earth. I have run the course. In spite of my mistakes, I am blessed beyond measure with four great children and a bevy of beautiful grandchildren. I am now living in Plano, Texas and even though I am not in the greatest shape, I am Too Anointed to be disappointed and Too Blessed to be depressed. I have a full-time caregiver, a husky and a terrier/poodle breed. I have a tiny interest in an Indoor,  professional football team and am just a stone’s throw from my beloved Dallas Cowboys. I am a former student of Texas A&M and Sam Houston State University. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and for the remaining time I have, I will never fail to share just what that means to me.

This Blog is available to any who wish to experience the “lifting of the shade” of a retired choral director, broadcaster and professional actor.  It is never intended to fault anyone who visits with a totally different belief, but as for me and my house, we shall serve The LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Should you wish to delve deeper-WELCOME!

Come on in! The water’s fine!

I have nothing to sell. I am a Sinner, saved by Grace who has lived a prodigal life and Am too blessed to be depressed and too anointed to be disappointed. Not that I deserve any of it, but simply because I Believe! I’ve had a most interesting life and walked through some exciting doors that opened to me. I’ve also gone where I shouldn’t. I have been blessed by fine students as a teacher of choral music in public schools from Texas to North Carolina. I’ve been honored as a broadcaster by the Nevada Broadcasters Association and spent nearly four years touring with “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” National Tour II, originating in Houston and twenty-six cities later, closing at the Desert Inn in Las Vegas. I’ve been married, twice, to two beautiful ladies. I have a family who blesses my heart by example of God’s Grace. I now lift my shade and share what God has taught me over these eight decades. As I open and select from “MY Box of Chocolates”, I invite you to wade upstream with me.
