“I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.” (Job 19:25) Job was one of those men ‘after God’s Own Heart’, whose faith and belief was sorely tried by the “SIN”ister minister, himself. Through tragedy after tragedy, Job never lost faith. Even when all around him were encouraging his denial, he stood stedfast. Why? Well, God knew Job’s heart and was comfortable with whatever the devil could throw. As a believer, I would like to think that I could do so, but I am greatly appreciative that I’ve not experienced all that Job had happen in order to prove his faith, aren’t you? This current COVID-19 mess is enough. I just wish everyone would find a mustard seed of faith in God’s power. There would be a lot less waste of good cardboard and a lot less ‘Tweet’, donchaknow. Really. I do believe it would provide a sense of comfort even in stormy times.
And that’s what I get from My box of Chocolates. AMEN
