Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, (1 Corinthians 15:1) It’s sad, but true. So many claim to be Christians, yet many do not believe what the Bible says about it. I have lost a bunch of my followers over the past years. I have lost contact with over 1200 to exact. It is probably due to the fact that I’ve been so urgent in my message of salvation. It’s OK since I understand the difficulty in truly being ‘Christlike’. God makes that possible. He could have made everyone to be believers from their first breath. He chose instead, to have all of those who are His Children, be so by doing the one simple thing: “that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures“. Mankind has added stuff like “you must be baptized” or “you must belong to a certain church group” or “you must work at specific activities’ or ‘you must receive absolution from a certain man or church’. All of these are totally unnecessary, donchaknow. To be mislead by any ‘works’ demanded, other than belief, repentance and faith in scriptural fact, will simply send a person to the wrong eternal destiny. Jesus Paid It All! PERIOD!
And that’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates. AMEN
