From MY Box of Chocolates

When Absurdity abounds, think on this from the Book of Micah:  “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

I’ve put up a good fight for a number of years, but it’s time to admit health issues will prevent me from continuing video visits. It’s time to call in professional assistance, full time. My caregiver saved my life and has done exemplary ministry, but she needs a break. I qualify for ‘home health care’ and am accepting it. Linda, Adriene and I will continue to share expenses here in Rowlett, but my daytime care giver will come from that provided by Medicare. As I close in on age 89, into age 90, it’s time to allow assistance from professionals. It beats a nursing home, donchaknow.  Today, I get this thought from My Box of Chocolates. As the Prophet Micah says, “I will act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with God!” When all around is lost as a goose, why not?  Won’t you join me in my comfort zone?  Thank you for following my blog! And that’s what I get from MY box of chocolates.  AMEN
