Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Look around you right now. When you get to be 88, approaching 89, you simply just enjoy the “look”. Limited to only fond memories and blessed to be around to have them, it is just about as good a Thanksgiving as one can have. My fridge is loaded with all the proper ingredients for a scrumptious meal and all that is required is for one of my room mates to arise and shine. I’ve already been visited by my two pups and they’ve had their Thanksgiving Treat, so here I am, writing to friends who are experiencing what God has provided. As the day continues, may we be a bit thankful for our blessings, too numerous to mention here. And, while you’re at it, thank those who keep us safe and sound. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You. May He smile on you and give you Peace. And, that’s what I get from My box of chocolates. AMEN

  1. I, too am thankful for the many happy years I’ve had. Been blessed having children very close to visit and be visited by not only them but grandchildren and great grandchildren. So yes, God has been very good to me. Tomorrow, I will be 90 years young! Yes, I am and have been very blessed.
    Happy Thanksgiving, Jim!
