Three men stood in a totally pitch black room one day. Gautama Buddha, Muhammad and Jesus Christ each spoke, one at a time, saying, “Let there be light!”. First it was Buddha, “Let there be light!”…nothing happened, so he said it once more and once more…there was only darkness. Muhammad then said, “Let there be light” and nothing happened, even after he tried three times. Jesus chuckled and they said, “OK, you do better”. And He did! Scripture says that Job declared that it snows when God says, “Let it snow”. When God asked for rain, it did so in abundance. It seems to me that for anyone to believe in anything other than God and His Word, they are in for great disappointment. My life has been blessed, even in times of terrible circumstances. I am, by the world’s standards, indigent and needy. When asked, “What’s In Your Wallet?”, I say nothing. If William Devane were to ask, I would say nothing. I’m a poor lonesome cowboy in appearance, yet an Heir to everything. I’ve been adopted by God, Himself. Though totally unworthy, my eternal life is secured and eternally guaranteed! I am a Child of the King of the Universe, not because of anything I can do, but for everything my Lord Jesus Christ did for me on a horrible cross.
Talk about a box of chocolates! HeeLawsey!!! AMEN
