Then Comes the Morning

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” (James 1: 2-3)

Last night there was ‘heavy heart and emptiness’. The Austin/Williams Family ‘LOST’. It was all about ‘US’ and who was no longer with us. That’s the human heart talking, donchaknow. I had lost a precious friend and lover and they had lost a loving mother and sister. A dark cloud hovered over each of us. Salty tears and painful expressions. Yet, through it all, for those Who remain in the Faith, there a sense of relief. There was Joy whispering in each human heart. There was HOPE and COMFORT and CELEBRATION for a life of giving to others; a sharing of GOD and HALLELUIA!  When morning came, Angels sang and among them was one fine soprano voice! “PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW”!  One of those very special blessings had returned HOME, donchaknow. REALLY. Marilyn Jane Williams-Austin was greeted by Her Heavenly Father just after 9AM, just short of 88-years after HIS Kiss of Life! No more pain, meds or any thing this flawed world can provide. With a Glorious new body she now sings and shouts in VICTORY. (O, That will be Glory for ME!)  Sweet precious friend and lover, you won! You got HOME first and you deserved that. Really.

Can you hear those bells a’ringin’? Can you hear those Angels singin’? If not, why not?  May you find the Hope and Joy of Love through Jesus Christ today and everyday of YOUR life, too! And, that’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates.     AMEN
