There was a Sci-Fi movie some years back that had aliens sending huge pea pods that ‘cloned’ people, exchanged bodies and brought on havoc. I haven’t thought of that movie in years. As I recall, the title was “The Invasion of the Body Snatchers” and the lead was Kevin McCarthy. Later, I believe Donald Sutherland was in a remake. If it has been done again, I missed. It featured alien “pea pods” that took on cloning of humans, replaced them and brought about havoc. Adrian Rogers once wrote that a Christian is a ‘pea pod’ that becomes an empty shell once the peas leave the pod. I never thought of being a ‘pea’, but that illustration makes sense. The Bible describes GOD’ CHILDREN as “Gone”. What we are on earth is temporary. A true believer in JESUS CHRIST will be transported into the company of the Angels and Saints, never to feel anything other than glorious JOY for ever and ever. Now, that’s a HOOT, donchaknow. Even the empty pods will join in praising GOD and once JESUS returns with all of us as HIS army, the whole blooming earth will be transformed into a new earth with JESUS CHRIST as KING ETERNAL! So, all of this to say, “For All GOD’s CHILDREN, This is the day that the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” May everyone who joins me in this conversation, be seated at GOD’s TABLE through following HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST in total surrender and belief.
