There is a first step we must take to do anything. There is an admission price for practically everything. We begin greeting each other with something. When we cross the campus in Aggieland, it is “Howdy”. We meet and shake(right) hands. Everytime I go into a restaurant, in order to enjoy a meal, I must order it, first. I have noticed that I dress in a specific order. I put on a shirt or jacket, right arm first. I put on socks, shoes and pants. left foot first. From sitting or standing, it’s left foot first. To do business on the internet, it’s a password first. There is always a First Step. I recently mentioned my former Pastor in Charlotte, Jerry Barber. I was very interested in his latest sermon on “In Jesus’ Name”, since I always end my prayer that way. I am now convinced I, too, have been praying backwards. If you are interested in the matter, please take 30-minutes and listen to Jerry’s message based on 1 John 14:12-14 (ESV). Harvest Charlotte is http://www.harvestcharlotte.com. Select ‘resources’, then sermons, “Praying Backwards”. It speaks to me and blessed my heart. That’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates. AMEN
