A Letter to “THE MAN”

Dear SIR,

You are in inspiration to all of us who aspire to improve our lot. You have accomplished much and for that you have my utmost respect.  You are seated in the most powerful chair in the world and have been given opportunity to change the world for the better.  You appear to have no fear and by all accounts, will do as you promise. Your words are your bond and by all indications, you are  walking your talk. You have promised to rock the boat and the waves are over the rails. You ARE in charge, but it is my prayer that you do not ‘charge’ ahead without first honoring the GOD who made you. You, sir, have a big challenge and it will require more than your business acumen, it will require Divine Assistance. You say, “GOD Bless America”, but it would be best that you not do it on your own. Here is a bit of good advice: “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3.  Our faith has been placed in you as our leader. I pray diligently that YOUR Faith is solidly placed in GOD. I pray that your actions are not solely inspired by your own will, but the Will of GOD. “May the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart, be acceptable to HIM”. If you do it HIS way, in HIS time, those things will be added to us all. And, Sir, these thoughts are simply not my own, but they are shared with deep respect for the office in which you find yourself. It is up to you to walk your talk and count all but lost without the power of HIM who made you. That’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates.   AMEN
