I’ve experienced some pretty dark days over the past years. Some of them, I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face. I talk a good fight when things are going smoothly, but just about that time, here comes a cloudy sky. Today, I needed a little candle of hope and one of my students, responding to my decision to stay with them on Facebook, lighted up my life. Bless your heart, Linda! Your posting both humbled and jump-started this old heart. How can I but keep-on-keeping- on just in case what you share is true. I am about to begin diagnosis of a lingering problem and have a consultation with a new doctor this morning. I could use some prayer to go along with Linda’s encouraging words: “So very glad you are staying on Facebook. You are a link to our past and a bright light to our future”.  I guess, standing on GOD’s promise through JESUS CHRIST, I’ll just keep my little light a-burnin’, donchaknow, really.
