But, Finally

I have begun to talk about people who have and now make up my life. In my limited way, I am pointing out some very basic values that separate special people from the flotsam and jetsam of society. I hope that these wanderings will ignite the good in folks and thus make a difference in the life of another. I just spent a few minutes with my favorite internet pastor, Adrian Rogers.  I quote this Man of GOD frequently and the sermon on the internet of 7/31/2016 is worth ingesting. I awakened this morning with a heavy heart for the lost. I thought of the fine folk around me and I realized that I had no idea as to the spiritual condition of their hearts. I have no idea as to the spiritual condition or your heart, but I do know that time is running out for all of us and it’s time to take stock. The world is in a mess and GOD has been merciful and gracious for thousands of years, but Pastor Rogers, preaching from the inspired writing of Simon Peter, reminds us that what we cherish in this world is but ashes.  We love our life now, but the life we love is temporary. I could go on and on with my thinking, but I urge you to go to “Life Worth Living” and select the 7/31/2016 sermon, “There is a New World Coming”.  It is a slam dunk answer to what the whole bunch of us need. If it doesn’t bring a big AMEN, then we need some more work. Check out Adrian Rogers’ words and listen to them. They cut to the chase of peace and tranquility. Just what we need in the midst of tumultuous torment of confusion. This isn’t “The Great Day”, but it’s coming very fast and we gotta be ready, donchaknow. That’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates.    AMEN
