What Is Your Answer to “There Is NO God!”?

The fool[a] says in his heart,

    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
    there is no one who does good.  Ps. 14:1 NIV

I have shared the story of my conversation with an intelligent unbeliever. I have also admitted that I came away a bit concerned, because I felt I was not properly prepared for a lack of faith on his part. It is not withing my scope of understanding to doubt Holy Scripture.  I know, in my heart, that the Bible is the inspired Word of GOD. I do not need proof of my Faith. When confronted with total disbelief there is nothing you or I can do but to share and trust.  In the verse quoted, the writer pretty well puts the final ribbon on the truth.  We should never fail to share our Faith, but we must not think that every sharing will result in acceptance. That is the difficult part of witness. I can only continue to pray for my friend. I’ve done all that I could and now it is up to the HOLY SPIRIT. We must Be Prepared, but we must also be prepared to pray and wait, donchaknow.  That’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates.   AMEN

  1. Right on the money Jim. We don’t have to “close the deal”. All we have do is give the “sanctified sales talk”. I love what Josh McDowell said when somebody asked him how he knew he was saved. He said, “I was there when it happened.” God bless, my friend.
