My Needs Are Met

Somehow, someway by something or somebody, every need is met. Every morning I awaken with the knowledge that GOD has already provided, somehow, someway, through someone or something, exactly what I need.  I waste time wishing for wants, but most of the time that is wishful thinking.  We live in a state of mercy and grace.  We do not consider salary to be a gift, but opportunity to earn that salary is the result of GOD opening that door. How we perform that opportunity is up to us. The Bible says that from the very beginning, before conception, GOD knew us. Since that is the case, HE also knew all about us and how we would go about “all about us”. Talk about an invasion of privacy! Envy is a natural state of mind, influenced by our environment. The loudest shout-out around us is advertising. It successfully influences us into thinking we need something we do not have, yet when we don’t get it, we soon forget and move on to another want. There is an old hymn that, very clearly, points how just how sufficiently GOD provides. Here is the third stanza and refrain:

“3All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.”

At first one might be confused with the line “Nothing you ask will be denied”, but God isn’t in the ‘want’ business, so we shouldn’t waste our prayers for wants. There are intelligent people who do not believe in GOD.  Some have been disappointed when GOD doesn’t answer prayer the way they want.  It is by belief that prayer isn’t prayer unless the one praying is a Child of GOD and the subject of that prayer fits a need.  That’s what I get from My Box of Chocolates and I welcome your comments.  “GOD  will take care of you.”  He certainly has taken care of me and mine, donchaknow     AMEN
